In this design we strived to capture the spirit of the branding that Declare the Word LLC requested. We wanted to capture the design of the powerful declaration. This concept was created according to the request for a branding with a new energy and identity.
After researching and concept creations that I experimented with I moved in the direction of this clean and powerful brand mark. It is one with a modern/energetic Sound Wave. The Sound Wave is symbolic of energy, power, passion, authority, declaration, and it calls attention to the strength and force of the Holy Spirit & declaration of truth.
The typeface(font) used for DTW logo is also one of power. We decided to use a strong bold sans-serifed character which will help form a strong brand name that leaves a lasting impression on anyone that comes across it. One of my goals when creating logos is to make it both functional and eye-pleasing.
The logo not only works well on light backgrounds but also dark background. The logo can also be reproduced at any size and maintain readability. It can be a stand alone brand mark that is memorable, simple, & versatile.
The strong color combo that we strategically used really completes the brand. The bold color was utilized because of several reasons. DTW strongly declares truth! The founder of DTW is a very bold preacher! Red is often associated with passion/fire/truth which is exactly what DTW is about.
The Dark Blue, Red, Yellow and Light Blue colour scheme was chosen for its Modern & inviting nature and this can be applied across all of your marketing material such as your website, business card and so forth.
